Current Favourite | Winter Lip Combo

When Winter is here I tend to change my makeup colours from bright and summery to dark and rich tones. This includes my lipstick and I thought I would share with you the lip combination I have been loving this week. It is an easy, warm and rich lip combo for day to day wear or can easily transition into night.

My recent Mac Cosmetics haul saw me grab these two new lip products. I am always looking for that perfect warm brown shade and my winter lipsticks from last year just weren’t cutting it. So I was looking for a new liner and lipstick. After much deliberating, swatching and of course trying on, I chose a Lip Liner in spice and a Veletease Lip Pencil in Oh Honey. I am so glad I did!

Mac Velvetease Lip Pencil in Oh Honey is described as a matte warm chocolate colour on the Mac Website. I think it is a perfect brown for every day wear. Layering it up over the top of Spice, which has a little more of a red tone, adds even more warm and depth.

I am loving it! It is such a pretty colour! I know that I will be wearing this combo quite a bit over the coming months.

What is your favourite Winter lipstick? Is there another brown lipstick you love that you think I should try? Let me know in the comments below.

Also, I will have a #MOTD post on this look hopefully Sunday. Stay tuned for that. Have a fabulous weekend xx
