Get Beached Without the Burn – UD Beached Bronzer

When I first started blogging I wrote about the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (click here to read my review). This is still one of my favourite bronzers, but I find it works best for me in the winter months as the colour is softer and works better when I have my winter pale on.

In the Summer months I prefer a bronzer that is a little more on the warmer tone to give my summer colour a warm glow. For this I tend to reach for my Urban Decay Beach Bronzer in Bronzed.

Urban Decay state: ‘Our finely milled, super-soft formula applies smoothly, doesn’t streak, and creates a radiant glow that won’t quit. Get Beached (not burned); these universally flattering matte shades provide sheer, natural-looking coverage every time.’

Can we start by talking about the packaging! It is stunning! A gorgeous slim compact in rose gold. The front is absolutely gorgeous and unique with the palm tree graphic on the front. It definitely stands out from the rest of my makeup in the drawer! The compact itself is great quality and has a clasp that clicks shut. Inside is a full size mirror making it perfect for on the go.

The Bronzer is buttery smooth to the touch without any powdery kickback. There is great pigment so I suggest building up slowly to ensure you get the look you want. I sweep this over my cheek bones, temples, hairline and under my jaw to add warmth and colour to my face. It works perfectly without ending up looking like an oompa-loompa! (I am sure I am not the only one that has had this happen!).

What is your favourite bronzer? I Would love to know!

  1. This looks like a beautiful bronzer that I definitely want to try. My current favorite is the Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer. I recently used it all and am on the hunt for another bronzer that’s just as good.
