Happy Friday! Hope those of you that live in Australia enjoyed Australia Day yesterday. I swapped my day off and have today off as well so get an extra long weekend!! Woohoo!!
Last week I posted about my favourite peach toned blushes by Mac, so I decided to also talk about my favourite peach toned eyeshadows as well. I love a good warm toned eyeshadow and the peach craze that is in the makeup world at the moment is totally up my alley!!
My favourites are from a few different brands, with the majority of them from Makeup Geek. I love love love Makeup Geek eyeshadows. They have heaps of pigment, blend like a dream, have a huge range of colours and price wise they are unbeatable! If you haven’t tried them you really need to stop reading this and head to their website!!
I will start with the four Makeup Geek (MUG) shadows first:
In the Spotlight (bottom right) A soft pink with coral undertones and a foiled finish.
Cosmopolitan (Bottom left) Rose Gold with gold flecks and a shimmery finish
Morocco (top right) Rich, burnt orange with a matte finish
Mango Tango (top left) Peachy pink with flecks of gold
Morocco is my top favourite out of these four. Being a matte I use it quite regularly with lots of different looks as it adds life to brown shades in the crease – Perfection!
Next is a recent addition to my collection, Mac Suspiciously Sweet. When I saw this I could not leave it in store – it was love at first sight. Described as a coral orange (frost) on the Mac website it is gorgeous as it also has a gold reflect on different angles. It is perfect for the lid paired with your preferred shade of brown in the crease (mine is MUG Cocoa Bear and a touch of Americano to deepen the crease a little more).
Last but definitely not least is my Urban Decay Freelove. It is a golden vibrant peach shimmer and is stunning! Perfect for the lid or inner corner! I love using UD Freelove in the inner corner with Mac’s Suspiciously Sweet on the lid!
This Monday Mecca are releasing the Too Faced Peach Palette and I am pretty excited! Hopefully I get my hands on it and they don’t sell out! I have been wanting it since its first release so fingers crossed.
Do you have any peach eyeshadows that you love and think I need to add to my collection? What is your favourite combination of peach shadows? Let me know in the comments. Have a fabulous weekend xx
