Must Haves – The Body Shop Clay Mask

When my eldest son was one and I wanted to earn a little cash while enjoying all things beauty, I signed up to be a Body Shop at home consultant. Yep, just like Tupperware, but the host would pick a pampering party theme – try saying that three times quick! The themes ranged from facials, foot spas, mini mani and even makeup.  It was fun meeting new people while pampering the host with different products.  Everyone else would also get to join in on the fun.

Years later there are some Body Shop products that I still cannot live without.  So I thought I would share one of my top must haves with you.

The Body Shop Mineral & Ginger Warming Massage Clay Mask  is a ride or die product if you suffer from breakouts or you have a teenager that does. This product is amazing!

On their  website it says:

This mask magically warms itself up as you smooth it on for a deep cleansing yet moisturising treatment. With feel-good ginger, cinnamon oil, wild-harvested seaweed and kaolin clay to deep cleanse all skin types. Use as a weekly treatment.

  • Deep Cleansing
  • Oil-absorbing
  • Weekly treatment

As a teen I suffered cystic acne and even into my early adult years I was haunted by regular breakouts.  But this mask became my hero!  I used it twice a week and if would calm them down, reduce the redness and help keep my skin under control.  Everyone I recommended it to raved about how much it helped their skin and couldn’t believe the difference it made! Even now I have a tube and use it whenever I feel like I need a good deep cleanse or have a random breakout. Love it!

    1. Thanks, glad you enjoyed reading it. I’m not what you would call a sensitive skin type, but I never had anyone tell me they reacted to it when I was selling Body Shop. I checked the website and it didn’t say anything and all the reviews were 5 stars and raving. Because it is calming I would think you shouldn’t have a problem, but if you live near a store drop in and ask them for a tester. They will pop some in a little jar for you to try. Hope this helps. Xx
