Mini Haul | Glambot.com

What is Glambot.com I hear you ask? My new favourite shopping website for high end makeup! It’s a place where makeup junkies and hoarders alike can buy awesome makeup for a fraction of the cost. The catch? The products are pre-loved (but hygenically cleaned and sealed). However, the products I purchased do not even look like they have ever been touched! The packaging is a little marked on a few things but the product itself is perfect. The money I saved buying from here was huge! I am hooked!

My mini haul from glambot.com

Glambot’s ‘about’ page states: ‘Glambot was founded by a tried and true makeup hoarder. She loves makeup and all the glamour it represents. After trying the various online makeup bartering and trading communities, she experienced the major downsides of these communities, such as swap lifting, counterfeits, items arriving damaged in the mail, or worst of all –items in unusable condition. Instead of abandoning the makeup community entirely, she decided to improve and unite it! In May 2014, Glambot quickly grew to become the online destination for the largest collection of rare, limited edition and discontinued items from highly sought after and coveted makeup brands. So come on and experience the glam! We add new items every day!’

This website is based in America but also ships internationally. Spend $99 USD and the shipping is free. Perfect! Just what I like to hear! When I first heard about the website I was a little hesitant. I lost count of the amount of times i put things in my basket but never purchased. But after watching a You-tube video by Nikia Joy on her purchases from this website I decided to give it a go. What could be the worst that could happen? I waste my money and never shop there again. Best thing? I have some great new products and saved myself some money in the process…Cha Ching!

Urban Decay Afterglow Blush | Score

I have already written a review on this blush as I fell in love with it straight away. You can read the full review here. This blush did not even look like it had been touched. It was still in the box and perfect condition. Completely perfect!

Mac Blush | Modern Mandarin

I love Mac Blushes and I love peach and orange shades so had to give this one a go. It is more of a red orange which is a great variation to my current peach toned blushes. Mac blushes aways have great colour, blend well and lasting well on my skin.

Mac Blush | Spring Flock

The second Mac blush I grabbed was Spring Flock. This is described as a light bright coral. It is a pinky coral and a really pretty colour. I am pretty excited about this one and I think it will be a great spring colour.

Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation | Medium

I had been wanting to get this after trying if from a sample card and loved it. So when I saw this available it went straight into my basket. It is claimed as being infused with Cocoa Complex, which is antioxidant-rich, oil-absorbing, non-drying powder that defends against free radicals, while minimizing the appearance of fine lines and pores. SOLD!! I wonder if I can bath in it….LOL!

Mac Lip Liner | Burgundy

Coming into Autumn in Australia I love a good burgundy coloured lip. But was lacking a lip liner. Mac lip liners never disappoint me so thought I would give this one a go.

Kylie Lip Liner | True Brown K

Have never tried any of her liners or lipsticks but always admired this colour on other people. So for the price I threw it in as well.

This liner was a little dinted all over but still full size. The bonus of a lip pencil I can sharpen the end to make sure it is definitely hygienically clean.

Final Thoughts

Would I buy from this site again! For sure! As you can see from the pictures above the powders were all flawless and with just a few little packaging marks. You can see in the picture below the little markings around the top of the label in some sort of marker. This is an example of when I say some are marked. Not exactly something that worries me.

I saved a ton of money. I worked out if I bought the products in Australia brand new and full price I would be looking at way over the $200 mark. So for $99 USD converted I was well ahead and this little makeup junkie also loves a great bargain.

The downside is the products that are available change and you would need to be checking back all of the time to get the popular products. But they often have additional sales as well so an extra saving makes the shopping even better!

Have you bought from here before? Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Or is there other sites like this that I haven’t heard about yet? xx
