Colour Me Happy – My Makeup Reference Guide

This post is going to be a little different but I thought it would be a helpful tool for all of you gorgeous peeps out there that follow my blog. If you are anything like me and order most of your makeup online you often wonder what tones will suit you best. I love it when bloggers I follow mention the shade they use when talking about products. I find this helps me pick the ones that should be good for me. So I thought I would start a post that lists information about my skin and also colours I use when it comes to Foundations, Powders and Concealers. Whenever I try something new I will update the post so it can be used as a continual reference.

My Skin Type:

I am an oily to combination skin girl. In winter I am more on combination side with dry patches on occasion and Summer a lot more on the oily side. I also have large pores on my forehead, nose and cheek areas.

When it comes to the colour and tone I would usually class myself as a medium tone with a yellow undertone. I definitely loose my colour in Winter but tan very easily in the Summer Months (and that is with sunscreen on!) So some foundations will have two different colours that I switch between depending on the season.
