thankyou coffee body scrub

Thankyou. Coffee Body Scrub

I love a good coffee scrub! So I was super excited to find this one in the isle of my local Coles store.  Lets take  a moment to appreciate the packaging…super cute and stylish!

Thankyou is a brand that puts 100% of their profits back into communities to help people in need. How awesome is that! You can even track where the money is going as the product has an id number you can enter on their website that tells you what project this money is helping.

On the website it states:

‘Wake up and smell the coffee! The antioxidant rich coffee grounds and cold-pressed macadamia oil go together like birds of a feather – hello smooth, soft skin! Gentle exfoliation combined with amazingly hydrating natural oils helps make dry skin a thing of the past.

• Made from Fair Trade Coffee

• Not Tested on Animals

• Made with love in Australia’

This scrub smells amazing. Botanical geranium & rosewood mixed with cold pressed macadamia oil and fair trade coffee are a match made in heaven. Don’t worry you wont go around smelling like a freshly brewed coffee all day, but the coffee smell will wake you up in the morning getting you ready for your morning brew.

The jar is 300g and perfect for using in the shower – and you definitely need to be in the shower when using a coffee scrub, otherwise it would get a little messy. Previous coffee scrubs I have bought come in a brown paper bag with a zip lock style top. While this is a cute and recycle worthy look, for me personally, I find it really difficult to work with in the shower – practicality points are low. You can’t really put them down on a ledge in case they fall over but leave them on the shower floor and they fill up with water….eeek!

I love the smell and the way this scrub leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and nourished. The practical packaging is also a thumbs up from me. Also knowing that my money is going to a good cause is also a winner. Will I buy this again? You bet!
