Wow where has November gone! Christmas is coming towards us like a steam train. I think I need to stop procrastinating and get started on my Christmas shopping! The problem is I end up buying myself more presents than anyone else….oops. Am I too old to still get presents under the tree from Santa?
This month I have some new favourites and also some oldies but goodies. So I will start with my new favourites I discovered this month that are now part of my daily ‘can’t live without’ makeup draw.
I have fallen in love with the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. The packaging, colour, pigment and even the smell have me reaching for it on a daily basis. This will not be a surprise to anyone that has been following my blog as I wrote a review on the 1st November. If you would like to read more about it, you can find it here.
The Stilla correcting palette is something I am completely obsessed with! The best colour correcting palette I have found so far. You can read all about it on my blog post correcting your complexion.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I have been playing with this for a few months now, but more on a random basis. It has now become my daily option. I can’t fault this foundation. I have an oily/combination skin type – extremely oily in my T-zone and living in an environment with high humidity creates havoc with my makeup during the summer months. But this has been a life saver. I still find a do get a little shiny, nothing a little powder wont fix though. I love the flawless finish it gives my skin and also the lasting factor. It will still be there at the end of my day. I am currently wearing it in the colour 3w1 Tawny for summer and 2w2 Rattan in winter. Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Lipstick is my current favorite lip stick. It stays on and isn’t as drying as some of the other brands I have used. My favourite colours at the moment are Aphrodite closely followed by Adam and eve. They are both peach toned lipsticks which I am loving for spring.
I am also enjoying the Nyxx Lingerie liquid lipstick in Lace Detail. This is more of a dusty pink toned nude, absolutely gorgeous! A little more drying than the Gerard Cosmetics ones, but I still love it just the same.
Moving away from cosmetics and heading into the world of style, I have been loving my Samantha Wills Ring. This was a gift for my birthday back in July from my gorgeous friend Lindy. I have found myself planning my outfit around this little gem. Love, love, love!!
